EPRD and DEED successful in GOCO grant for Trail Connecting Evergreen Lake to Downtown Evergreen! March 5, 2013

The Evergreen Parks and Recreation District worked together with DEED to propose on a GOCO grant for the construction of a trail to connect Downtown Evergreen to Evergreen Lake in the Fall of 2012. The EPRD has since assigned a project manager and both DEED and the EPRD are working through the myriad of regulatory hurdles in order to start construction as soon as the Summer of 2013. Stay tuned for more information as we will post key dates and benchmarks on this important downtown project!

The success of this GOCO grant is not without the incredible support of Liz Cohen’s grant writing assistance and Scott Robson and the rest of the EPRD board’s willingness to administer the grant as the required government agency.
